WrenchGrid LLC
💡 Plain-English Summary: WrenchGrid collects only what you give us in the diagnostic form. We use it to generate your report — nothing else. We don’t sell your data, share it with advertisers, or contact you beyond what you explicitly opt into. If you provide your phone number, you consent to receive SMS updates related to your report. Full details below.
01 — Overview

What This Policy Covers

WrenchGrid LLC (“WrenchGrid,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the website at wrenchgrid.com and provides AI-powered revenue leak diagnostic reports for residential and light commercial service businesses (the “Service”).

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over your data. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

Questions at any time? Reach us via our contact form — we respond within 2 business days.

02 — Data Collection

Information We Collect

We collect information in two ways: what you provide directly through the diagnostic form, and what is automatically collected when you visit the site.

What You Provide Directly

When you complete the WrenchGrid diagnostic, you share operational details about your business — your trade type, job volume, average ticket, team size, and stated pain points. In Step 3 of the form, your full name, company name, email address, and phone number are required to receive your report by email, access paid services, or schedule a recovery call. These fields are not required to run the free diagnostic, but are needed to receive your results.

Payment Information

Payments for the Full Report or Monitoring plan are processed by Stripe. We never see, collect, or store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details. Stripe’s own privacy policy governs how that data is handled.

Automatically Collected Data

When you visit our site, standard web data is collected — including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, and time on site. This is used solely to maintain and improve the Service.

Important: WrenchGrid does not connect to ServiceTitan, Jobber, Housecall Pro, or any other software platform. We have zero access to your actual business records. Everything in your report is based on what you tell us in the form, combined with anonymized industry benchmarks for businesses of similar size, trade, and operational profile.

03 — Data Usage

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide for the following purposes only:

  • Generate your report. Your diagnostic inputs are processed by our AI system — alongside anonymized industry benchmarks — to calculate your revenue leak estimate and produce your personalized report.
  • Deliver paid products. If you purchase a Full Report or Monitoring plan, your information is used to fulfill those services — including report delivery and scheduling your 30-minute recovery call.
  • Communicate with you. If you provide your email and opt in, we may send your report results, follow-up resources, or account updates. We will not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.
  • Send SMS updates. If you provide your phone number, you consent to receive text messages related to your diagnostic report, service updates, and appointment confirmations. See Section 6 for full SMS terms and opt-out instructions.
  • Improve the Service. Aggregated, anonymized data — never individually identifiable — may be used to improve our diagnostic model and calibrate revenue estimates.
  • Maintain security. Automatically collected data helps us detect abuse, protect the integrity of the Service, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your business data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond generating your report and delivering the Service you purchased.

04 — Data Sharing

How We Share Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service providers. A small number of trusted vendors help us operate the Service — including our hosting provider, Stripe (payments), our SMS delivery provider (Twilio), and our email delivery provider. They access only the data needed for their specific function and are contractually prohibited from using it for anything else.
  • Legal requirements. We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of WrenchGrid, our users, or the public.
  • Business transfers. If WrenchGrid is acquired or merges with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.

We will never share your diagnostic data with other service businesses, industry associations, competitors, or any party not listed above.

05 — Security

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on servers located in the United States. We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS), access controls, and regular security reviews to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

No transmission over the internet is 100% secure. If you believe your data has been compromised, contact us immediately via our contact form.

Data Retention

Free report diagnostic inputs are retained for up to 12 months in anonymized form for product research. Paid report data is retained for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion at any time — see Section 8.

06 — SMS Communications

SMS Communications

TCPA Consent Notice: By providing your phone number on the WrenchGrid diagnostic form or any other data collection point on this site, you expressly consent to receive text message (SMS) communications from WrenchGrid LLC regarding your diagnostic report, service updates, appointment confirmations, and related business communications. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.

  • Consent is voluntary. Providing your phone number and consenting to SMS is not a condition of purchasing any WrenchGrid product or service. You may opt out at any time without affecting your access to the Service.
  • How to opt out. Reply STOP to any WrenchGrid text message at any time to unsubscribe. You will receive a one-time confirmation message and no further SMS will be sent to that number.
  • How to get help. Reply HELP to any WrenchGrid text message, or contact us via our contact form.
  • Types of messages. Messages may include: report delivery notifications, follow-up reminders, recovery call appointment confirmations, and service updates. We do not send unsolicited promotional blasts.
  • Carriers not liable. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • SMS provider. SMS messages are delivered via Twilio. Twilio’s privacy policy governs their handling of message delivery data.

07 — Cookies

Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site and understand how visitors use it:

  • Essential cookies. Required for the site to function — for example, maintaining your session while you fill out the diagnostic form.
  • Analytics cookies. We may use privacy-friendly analytics tools to understand page traffic, report completion rates, and general usage patterns. These tools do not build individual advertising profiles.
  • No advertising cookies. We do not use tracking pixels, retargeting tags, or advertising cookies from third parties such as Meta, Google Ads, or TikTok on this site.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent the diagnostic form from functioning correctly.

08 — Your Rights

Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access. Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction. Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion. Request that we delete your personal information. We honor deletion requests promptly, subject to any legal retention obligations.
  • Opt-out of communications. Unsubscribe from any emails by clicking the unsubscribe link or contacting us directly. To opt out of SMS, reply STOP to any message.
  • Data portability. Request a copy of your data in a portable format where technically feasible.

Residents of California (CCPA), the EU or UK (GDPR), and other jurisdictions with specific privacy laws retain all rights afforded by those laws. To exercise any right, submit a request via our contact form. We will respond within 30 days.

We do not discriminate against users who exercise their privacy rights. Requesting deletion or opting out of communications will not affect the quality of the Service you receive.

09 — Children

Children’s Privacy

The WrenchGrid Service is intended solely for business owners and operators aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, contact us immediately via our contact form and we will delete it promptly.

10 — Third Parties

Third-Party Links

Our site may contain links to third-party websites or resources — such as Stripe’s payment portal or external references in your report. These third parties operate under their own privacy policies, and we have no control over or responsibility for their practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.

11 — Updates

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our Service evolves or as required by law. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email or with a prominent notice on our website.

Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. If you disagree, please stop using the Service and contact us to request deletion of your data.
